Student Accounts

Every band student has a student account created for them when they start their band experience in the Plainwell Band Program.   Middle School and High School band students both have student accounts.

Students have the opportunity to add funds to their personal account by participating with offered fundraisers.

Throughout the school year the Band Boosters will offer several fundraiser opportunities to raise funds for both the general Band Booster budget along with the opportunity to add funds into your students account.

After the fundraiser is completed and all funds are reconciled the Band Booster Treasurer will add the designated amount of profits earned into each students account.

Student accounts can be used for any band related expenses:
Reeds, Supplies, Tutors, Lessons, Camp, Repairs, Spirit wear, Instruments, Disney (including spending money before the Disney trip).  The directors need to verify that your student has funds available before they can hand out reeds and supplies in class.

Request for student account funds must be submitted in writing to the Band Booster Treasurer and accompanied with the specific documentation supporting the band related expense.

If your child chooses to no longer continue in the Plainwell Band Program you can transfer any monies left in his/her account to another sibling that is in the band program.  It is your responsibility to notify the Band Booster Treasurer with this information.

If your child chooses to no longer continue in the Plainwell Band Program and does not have a sibling in the band program the balance left in his/her account will be moved into the general Band Booster account.  These funds are not refundable.

Funds cannot be transferred to other non-sibling related students.  All funds that remain in the students account at the time of Graduation will be moved into the general Band Booster account.

You are welcome to contact the Band Booster Treasurer at any time and inquire as to the amount of funds available in your students account.
